Jonelle Awomoyi

Jonelle received the award of Most Read Article when she took part in the Young Reporter Scheme in 2016. She said that taking part in the scheme helped her communicate with a much wider variety of people and aided her to become more organised and creative. 
 
Jonelle is now a member at the National Council of Women of GB and represented them at the UN’s 63rd Commission on the Status of Women in support of improving the rights of women around the world. 
 
Currently working for the BBC as a journalist, she is one of our alumni who followed a path in journalism. She aspires to become a world class journalist, promoting positive change by telling untold stories.
